Why a Training Field?

 

Everybody around the Rottweiler breed (being persons or institutions) are agreed to say it is a Working Dogs Breed. It is what the breed standard say.
However, in our country, the Rottweiler Training (which is common on the German Club, the ADRK), is almost non-existent.We know it is not easy to find, in our busy life, neither the time or the place where develop this subject agreed as so "essential" to our dogs. Assuming that we have time and place to train our dogs, we find a new problem: where is the qualified staff to do it .

We stayed at this crossroads for many years. We invest a lot of time and money without achieving the basic level of training required by the ADRK, it means a level of VPG/SchH I.
Classifications VPG, SchH, RCI, IPO & CG (Protection Dog) are similar, and refer to the same kinds of tests for protection dogs (based on an old German program of selection for breeding) which includes sections of Tracking, Obedience and Protection, and three levels of demand.

A few years ago we met Aldo Cecchi and he trainned our dog Etzel von Liebesmeer to be tested on CG/IPO I and later IPO/CG II. He was the First Rottweiler of Argentina to achieved this level. However, it was not possible for us to train our dogs with Aldo, because he lives in Córdoba Province, located 435 miles far of our home and kennel.
Finally we had the good luck to met Osvaldo "Patón" Bonavera who moved near of our home and with him and Patricia starts our Trainning Field, using the free space of our kennel.
